Situated in the heart of the iconic village of Deia, one of the most picturesque villages on the island, this home has two terraces, the first with stunning elevated views looking out to sea, perfect for a morning breakfast or an evening dinner as the sun sets. A second terrace with an infinity pool, stretches out with views across the village, to the gardens of the famous La Residencia Hotel and the imposing Tramuntana Mountains. There are a large kitchen, dining & lounge area and 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. There is also parking.
This home is ideally located, with just a short walk to the center of Deia and the various bars, restaurants, shops, and mini markets. Cala Deia, Deia´s only beach with its clear waters and rock pools, is only a quick hike away.

ABOUT DEIA
The coastal town of Deià, on the northwest coast of Mallorca, is one of the most beautiful villages on the island. Located on a steep hillside at the foot of the Teix mountain, and with views over the Mediterranean, Deià has long been a magnet for famous artists, writers, and other creators, among whom the writer Robert Graves stands out.
The English poet and novelist first moved here in 1932 and, before long, Deia had established a reputation as a foreign artists' colony. However, Graves was hardly the first to discover Deià, an 1878 guidebook noted its "collection of strange and eccentric foreigners" and it has stayed that way ever since.
Today the village is still very much an artist’s town with a number of art galleries and gift shops, along with a good selection of restaurants while controlled urban expansion has meant that this little village has maintained its traditional beauty and charm. Now it is on every tourist itinerary as a prime example of 'the other Mallorca' and it has even become a popular haunt for the rich and famous. Foreign residents, which make up half of its population, are certainly of the affluent type, evident in the average house price for the municipality. These ex-pats not only respect but immerse themselves in the traditional Mallorcan life created and preserved by locals from the area.
Being a part of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, awarded World Heritage Site status, means that Deia is surrounded by some of Mallorca’s finest landscapes. There is a relaxed vibe here but, at the same time, it is a popular place for cycling and hiking enthusiasts to base themselves.
CYCLING AROUND DEIA
Being located in the heart of the Tramuntana Mountains, along the NorthWestern Coast of Mallorca, you'll be guaranteed some epic rides and breathtaking scenery with steep cliffs plunging down to the Mediterranean Sea, charming and picturesque honey-colored stone villages, and terraced slopes with century-old olive trees and grapevines. It does not get much better than this to be honest. Heading SouthWest you'll find Valldemossa after 10 Km and from there you can carry on along the stunning SW coast and through the stunning towns of Banyalbufar and Estellencs all the way to Andratx, or you can also head inland towards Esporles, Galilead and Calvia. To the NorthEast you have Soller also 10 Km away and mostly downhill but anyway you go from there you can go over the twisty Coll de Soller and over to Orient village, or ride up to longest sustained climb on the island up to Monnaber Tunnel (reffered as the Puigmajor by local cyclists) and over to Sa Calobra, the most famous climb in Mallorca.
The one downside being that an easy flat recovery ride after a few days riding is not really an option without taking the shuttle out of the village... Seomthing we can easily organise of course.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Apart from being a cyclists paradise, the Tramuntana Mountains around Valldemossa, Deia, and Soller are also a great playground for non-cyclists or for that recovery time after your rides. Whether you like to enjoy yourself actively, have some leisure time with friends or family, or enhance your Mallorcan connection with cultural and gastronomic experiences, Deia and its surroundings have it all.

Hike the many trails between Valldemossa and Soller, with amazing and remote views of the coast, or reliving the steps of the ancient artist's trail connecting Deia and Soller villages. You can also try some mountain biking along the same trails although they're quite advanced.

We could also organize some exhilarating guided activities on the coast like Coasteering, Climbing or Deep Water Soloing, or heading deep into the mountains and do some Canyoning.

Charter a boat for half a day and explore the coast's hidden gems like Sa Foradada, Sa Calobra, Port de Valldemossa, S'Estaca, and Cala Deia.

Take a quick walk down to Cala Deia for lunch by the sea at Ca's Patro March.

On a cultural note the House of Robert Graves is worth a visit, where they've set up a small museum dedicated to his life and work.

Valldemossa is only 10 Km away and you can easily spend a moring walking around its tiny cobbled streets sprinkled with shops, galleries and cafe's, and also visiting the monk's monatery where Frederik Chopin lived for a winter.
